Ithris Cemetery

Ithris Cemetery, is an old decrepit graveyard where a forgotten king has been laid to rest.

Littering the graveyard is his wives in giant graves, concubines entombed in stone sarcophagus praying to their lost king, by choice or not, all in close proximity to Ithris Chaple as a macabre self-serving final decision of ruthlessness before his death, what king should not be with his family in death after all.

The surrounding castle and structures were built long ago to show the opulence and riches of king Ithris, the area is filled with tall cliffs now sinking into the open area after countless earthquakes resulted in structures collapsing and giant cliff faces turning in on themselves.

The foolishness, arrogance, and cruelty of rich men are never to be underestimated.

I wanted to create a scene with fairly extreme depth and composition in a dark fantasy world, this is the result I hope you find it interesting.
